About Growing Self Institute: All our programs are designed by therapists, for therapists. Generic coach training often doesn't even award a defensible credential, and skips what is actually hard for us: where the legal line between therapy and coaching sits, how to hold accountability without crossing a boundary, and what your protocols need to look like if a licensing board ever asks. Because you hold an advanced clinical degree, you qualify for the 30-hour education pathway rather than the 60 to 120 hours required of laypeople. Our supervised practicum supplies the clients, so you finish with your hours done and a caseload started.
